  • Developing and maintaining communications software using Java + JavaFX with an OSGi framework
  • Leading the Windows Integration Support Engineer team, a group of highly motivated engineers providing configured operating system images for multiple diverse platforms of differing release schedules and needs
  • Introduced automated processes and improved procedures that have resulted in the following:
    • 90% savings in time to create a set of images for a given platform, going from days of to minutes
    • No longer tied to physical targets for configuring images allowing for developers to work concurrently from VM templates
    • Oversight and manual intervention is no longer required
    • Reduced human error significantly through the adoption of peer-reviewed merge requests
    • Significantly reduced storage requirements from several terabytes to tens of GBs by centralizing script and binaries with Git and Nexus
